Ibiza Beaches and Resorts

(Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain)

Ibiza Beaches and ResortsWith over 50 beautiful beaches adding up to more than 50 km / 30 miles of stunning coastline, the sunny island of Ibiza has many excellent expanses of fine golden sand and clear blue waters. Some of the best beaches on Ibiza can be found along the island's south-eastern coastline, between Santa Eularia des Riu and Cala de Santa Vicent.

Many of the larger beaches include restaurants, beachside bars and a variety of water sports. There are also many other more private secluded coves and it is still possible to find a quieter spot on this lively party island.

During the summer season, all of the main beaches come with lifeguards and it is important to note that safe swimming areas are clearly marked by buoys, although you can swim outside these zones if you so wish. Topless sunbathing is considered to be quite acceptable and in the resorts, people generally spend much of their holiday simply walking around in trendy beachwear.

Cala es Figueral
