Ibiza Landmarks: Monumento a Cristóbal Colón - Avenida Doctor Fleming, San Antonio, Ibiza, 07820
This imposing Ibiza monument honours the famous explorer, Christopher Columbus. The modern landmark is located in the centre of a roundabout in San Antonia and is a popular attraction that was created in 1992.

Ibiza's Monumento a los Corsarios is situated in the island's harbour. Created in the early 20th century, this important monument honours the pirates that defended the island of Ibiza from the sea in the 18th century. The tall obelisk faces the port and features in the San Salvador celebrations that are held every year in August.

The Murallas de Ibiza are the city walls of Ibiza and are exceptionally well-preserved. Situated in the S'Eixample area of Ibiza, the monument of the General Vara de Rey is a popular attraction on the island. The statue is widely associated with Ibiza and was created over 100 years ago. General Vara de Rey was a Spanish general who perished in Cuba during the war in 1989. The statue is one of the most popular monuments on the island and is regularly visited by tourists. Paseo Vara de Rey is the main street in Ibiza, named after the general.
